What are QR Codes?

Quick Response (QR) codes are simply two-dimensional barcodes that can be printed on all types of media and then read (scanned) by your mobile smart phone using a QR scanner (App).

The code links directly to a specific message, emails, websites, phone numbers and much more!

QR codes have been  huge in Japan and across the East, and are fastly becoming commonplace in the West.

You will already have seen QR codes on product packaging, shop displays, printed and billboard advertisements as well as in emails and on websites.

You will need a QR scanner on your phone

There are lots of free apps out there for the different phone types. From our quick research and playing around – the one we have found  the best is  i-nigma. You can download it free from your usual APP Store or check out their website for more details. Once it’s on your phone you can store your favourite web sites and share them with friends.
